Yesterday was an absolute party on the diamond! We went an incredible 11 and 4 on the slate, turning it into a massive green day. We have been on a phenomenal run, wrapping up six straight profitable months halfway through the year. While we've had our rough stretches over the past yearβlike a few brutal weeks back around November and Decemberβit has been absolute takeoff time ever since cashing a massive parlay right after Christmas. Today, we kick off July 2026 with a loaded card packed with sharp analytical splits, pitching advantages, and heavy statistical edges.
Let's dive right into the board. π
π― Top Teams We're Backing Today
𧦠Chicago White Sox (ML) vs. Baltimore Orioles
This game is firing off in just a few minutes, and we are locking in the heavy value. Noah Schultz is back on the mound for Chicago; while he's been out a bit and got lit up in a couple of his last outings, the White Sox showed yesterday they can absolutely get after the Orioles. Baltimore completely failed to exploit a weak pitcher yesterday, and Dean Kremer has been dealing with an extended absence of his own. We like the White Sox to back up yesterday's performance and take this on the moneyline.
- π₯ Chicago's bats proved they can severely punish Baltimore's pitching staff.
- π¦ White Sox moneyline to exploit a high-value, fast-starting spot.
π€ Cleveland Guardians (ML) vs. Texas Rangers
The Rangers look like they are resting a massive portion of their squad today, with heavy hitters like Joc Pederson and Corey Seager completely out of the lineup. Facing a severely weakened, small Texas lineup, Joey Cantillo holds a distinct edge on the bump. He has been playing much better baseball as of late compared to MacKenzie Gore, who has repeatedly given up multiple earned runs in his recent starts.
- π₯ Joey Cantillo gives Cleveland a distinct starting pitching advantage today.
- π₯ Guardians moneyline to capitalize heavily on Texas resting their main stars.
π― Detroit Tigers (+ML Underdog) vs. New York Yankees
The Yankees are on an absolute skid right now and their roster construction is looking shaky outside of Ben Rice. Detroit's Troy Melton has looked incredibly respectable on the mound, keeping his earned runs very low. New York counters with Will Warren, who was just peppered for five earned runs by Boston and hasn't looked sharp. When the Tigers' bats wake up, they are dangerous, and their run differential numbers give them a massive edge here.
- π Troy Melton holds the clear metric consistency edge over Will Warren.
- π₯ Backing the Tigers at a premium, high-value plus-money price point.
𧦠Boston Red Sox (ML) vs. Washington Nationals
While we love what the Nationals have done for us when Alvarez is on the mound, this is a tough spot to fade the Red Sox at Fenway. Boston's bats have fully woken up and are hitting the ball beautifully. Boston holds a full one-run advantage in run differential and rolls out Kutter Crawford, who holds a strong sub-3 ERA. Alvarez has been respectable, but home-field advantage and the pitching metrics side with Boston.
- π Red Sox maintain a dominant run differential edge over Washington.
- π Trusting Crawford's sub-3 ERA metrics to lock down the win at Fenway.
π» San Diego Padres (ML) vs. Chicago Cubs
We don't love either of these starting pitchers, but Walker Buehler is easily the safer option over Colin Rea. Buehler has been good enough at keeping earned runs low and successfully handing things off to a reliable Padres bullpen. Rea is wildly inconsistentβgiving up 11 earned runs across two starts just before his last two decent outings. While Rea has a solid sub-3 ERA at home, his 7.6 road metrics are horrifying, and the Padres' bats showed up early and often yesterday.
- π San Diego holds a distinct bullpen edge and better pitching stability with Buehler.
- π₯ Padres moneyline to cash in on an inconsistent Chicago pitching setup.
π New York Mets (ML -105) vs. Toronto Blue Jays
The Mets cashed for us yesterday, and we are going right back to the well. Freddy Peralta carries a solid 3.52 ERA and is easily the superior pitcher on the mound today. He faces Toronto's Braydon Fisher, who is functioning more as a rotational arm. The Blue Jays are flat-out bad hitters right now, getting shut out 3-0 last night. As long as Peralta avoids standard mistakes against weaker hitting teams, the Mets will take care of business in a lower-scoring affair.
- π Freddy Peralta completely outclasses a weak Toronto rotational pitching option.
- π₯ Mets moneyline at a sharp -105 price point to limit a struggling offense.
βοΈ Teams We're Proceeding With Caution (Underdogs, 50/50s & Sharp Fades)
π΄ββ οΈ Pittsburgh Pirates (+ML Value Underdog) vs. Philadelphia Phillies
This is an absolute heavyweight pitching matchup featuring Paul Skenes squaring off against Zack Wheeler. Wheeler has been an elite force, allowing just four earned runs over his last four starts. Skenes hasn't quite looked like his usual self lately, giving up multiple earned runs and forcing Ashcraft to carry the rotation weight. However, getting Paul Skenes at a premium plus-money value price is an automatic play. The Phillies' bats are hot, but we aren't passing up Skenes as an underdog.
- β οΈ Sharp Play: Pittsburgh Pirates Moneyline to back Paul Skenes at a rare plus-money value point.
𧱠St. Louis Cardinals (ML) vs. Atlanta Braves
The Cardinals' pitchers can be incredibly home-dependent, but today they face Reynaldo LΓ³pez, who simply lacks elite strikeout stuff, failing to crack 4 Ks all season long. St. Louis features a strong, high-powered lineup carrying a hefty .760 team OPS that can easily generate runs. Michael McGreevy gets the nod for the Cardinals and has looked excellent this year, while the Braves are coming off another bad loss yesterday.
- β οΈ Sharp Play: St. Louis Cardinals Moneyline to exploit McGreevy's form against a slumping Braves squad.
π Tampa Bay Rays (ML / First Five F5) vs. Kansas City Royals
An incredible pitching duel features Shane McClanahan going up against Seth Lugo. While McClanahan has given up a few runs recently, his raw strikeout metrics and superior FIP (3.62 vs. 4.73) give him the definitive starting edge. The Royals have home-field advantage, but the Rays won big yesterday. We love Tampa Bay here, but we highly recommend playing the First Five (F5) innings to completely isolate the starting pitchers and eliminate shaky bullpens.
- β οΈ Sharp Play: Tampa Bay Rays Moneyline or First Five (F5) to ride McClanahan's underlying metric edge.
πΊ Milwaukee Brewers (ML) vs. Cincinnati Reds
We are backing the Brewers here purely on a clear run differential advantage and a superior starting pitcher edge. Colin Rea has been much better at managing games for Milwaukee, while Andrew Abbott has been respectable for Cincinnati but relies heavily on a weak Reds bullpen. If Abbott gives up early runs and exposes that bullpen to the Brewers' bats, Milwaukee will pull away effortlessly.
- β οΈ Sharp Play: Milwaukee Brewers Moneyline to leverage a dominant team run differential.
π― Minnesota Twins (+ML Underdog Value) vs. Houston Astros
This is a pure value play in a coin-flip matchup. Houston holds the raw offensive metric edges in slugging and OPS, but the Twins are throwing out Taj Bradley. Bradley has been fantastic this season, outside of one minor rough patch, and is actively lowering his ERA metrics. With the Twins' bats showing up consistently and Arrighetti presenting known control and walk issues for Houston, we love the underdog price.
- β οΈ Sharp Play: Minnesota Twins Moneyline (+113) to extract premium value out of Taj Bradley.
π¦ Miami Marlins (ML) vs. Colorado Rockies
We are backing the Marlins directly on the moneyline today. Max Meyer is on the bump, and he has shown flashes of being one of the single best young arms in baseball this season. Miami carries a heavy pitching and run differential advantage into Coors Field today, and after the Rays showed us yesterday that road teams can dominate this environment, we expect Miami to do the same.
- β οΈ Sharp Play: Miami Marlins Moneyline to leverage Max Meyer's high-stinky-cheese stuff.
π Los Angeles Dodgers (-1.5 Run Line) vs. Oakland Athletics
This is a spot where the metrics are completely undeniable. Shohei Ohtani is on the mound for the Dodgers, and he has been completely lights out this year. Oakland is countering with J.T. Ginn, who suffers from massive home-versus-road splits. The Dodgers hold every significant metric edge in run differential and roster depth. After dropping a game they should have won earlier in the week, look for LA to execute flawlessly.
- β οΈ Sharp Play: Los Angeles Dodgers -1.5 Run Line to maximize value and avoid heavy straight moneyline juice.
𧱠San Francisco Giants (+ML Underdog) vs. Arizona Diamondbacks
The nightcap features Trevor McDonald projecting for the Giants against Zac Gallen for the Diamondbacks. Gallen has been getting absolutely peppered lately, giving up five and nine earned runs in recent outings. While Gallen is traditionally much sharper at home (sub-5 ERA) than on the road (near a 7 ERA), the Giants' bats have been hitting the baseball exponentially better over the last two weeks. We are gladly taking San Francisco at a plus-money sprinkle.
- β οΈ Sharp Play: San Francisco Giants Moneyline to exploit Gallen's recent high earned-run vulnerability.
π£ Slates, Prop Leans & Historical Trends
Instead of over-complicating your cards, pay close attention to the monthly shifts as we head into July.
- First Five (F5) Focus: For heavy pitcher-vs-pitcher matchups like Tampa Bay, utilize the F5 market to bypass volatile, high-turnover bullpens.
- Holiday Home Run Splits: Keep a close eye on the home run prop markets this week. Historically, this first week of July leading into the holiday acts as a massive launching pad for hot hitters.
Enjoy the slate, lock in those high-value slips, and let's cash out together! π°
