Los Angeles Dodgers vs Colorado Rockies — Recap

📰Game Recap

The Los Angeles Dodgers secured a 7-5 victory over the Colorado Rockies, a contest in which their offense ultimately prevailed in a competitive matchup.

While Mickey Moniak delivered a solo home run for the Rockies and factored into two of their five runs, the Dodgers' offense consistently found ways to push across runs throughout the game. This approach allowed them to build a lead that Colorado's lineup, despite Moniak's spark, could not fully overcome.

The Dodgers' consistent offensive pressure proved to be the decisive factor. For Colorado, even a notable pitching performance like Adam Laskey's, who allowed two earned runs in three innings, was not enough to stifle Los Angeles's scoring. This sustained output from the Dodgers' bats created the necessary cushion to hold off the Rockies.

Ultimately, Los Angeles's ability to generate sufficient offense proved to be the difference, securing the win despite spirited efforts from the Colorado lineup. The Dodgers now hold a 76-51 record, while the Rockies stand at 50-76.
