Minnesota Twins vs Toronto Blue Jays — Recap

📰Game Recap

The Minnesota Twins overpowered the Toronto Blue Jays in an 8-2 victory, fueled by a decisive offensive surge that broke the game open and a solid outing from their starting pitcher.

While the Blue Jays managed to get on the scoreboard early, Minnesota quickly asserted control. The game truly shifted in the third inning, when the Twins mounted a significant five-run rally that established a commanding lead and reshaped the contest.

This five-run outburst in the third inning proved to be the pivotal moment, allowing the Twins to pull away. Tristan Gray was instrumental in the rally, connecting for a home run that drove in three crucial runs. Meanwhile, starting pitcher Taj Bradley effectively muzzled the Toronto offense, yielding only one earned run over five frames and collecting seven strikeouts, keeping the Blue Jays from staging any meaningful comeback.

Ultimately, the Twins' ability to combine a powerful offensive inning with a dominant pitching performance from Bradley was the key to their comfortable win. The victory moves Minnesota's record to 61-65, dropping Toronto to 61-66.
