This two-run frame gave Cantillo a comfortable lead, and he continued to mow down Padres hitters, completing six strong innings with seven strikeouts while surrendering just one earned run. Although an error by Cronenworth in the seventh inning led to two more runs, the outcome had largely been decided by Cleveland's sustained pressure and strong pitching.
