📰Game Recap

The Texas Rangers secured a narrow victory over the Seattle Mariners, prevailing in a tight contest defined by strong pitching and minimal offense from both sides. A solo home run accounted for Seattle's only run, while Texas managed just enough to edge out the win.

Rangers starter Jacob deGrom navigated through five innings, yielding just one run on a Cal Raleigh solo home run. That blast from Raleigh accounted for the Mariners' only mark on the scoreboard against deGrom's impressive outing. The Texas offense, meanwhile, pieced together two runs throughout the game to secure their narrow lead.

The difference in the game ultimately hinged on the Rangers' ability to scratch across those two runs while limiting the Mariners to a single score. Raleigh's solo home run proved to be the entirety of Seattle's offense. On the other side, deGrom's effort was instrumental, as he allowed just that one run over his five innings of work, striking out six batters and giving his club the opportunity to prevail in a low-scoring affair.

Ultimately, the Rangers prevailed in a tightly contested matchup, showcasing effective pitching and securing just enough offense to get past their opponent. The Texas Rangers now stand at 62-64 on the season, while the Seattle Mariners' record moves to 59-67.
