๐Ÿ“ฐGame Recap

Cincinnati mounted a late-game rally, erasing a three-run deficit over the final innings and securing a walk-off victory in the 10th frame. The Reds' persistent offense chipped away at the Kansas City advantage, eventually overcoming a solid outing from the opposing starting pitcher.

Kansas City took the initial lead in the fourth inning. Caglianone's groundout brought home Perez, followed by a two-run single from Massey that scored Loftin and Marte, giving the Royals a 3-0 advantage. Cincinnati began to chip away at the lead in the bottom of the fifth when Spencer Steer launched a solo home run to left center.

Despite a strong outing from Royals starter Noah Cameron, who delivered seven innings allowing just one earned run and striking out eight, the Reds' power bats eventually turned the tide. Steer continued his impactful performance, hitting his second solo home run of the game in the eighth inning to cut the deficit to one. The tying run came in the bottom of the ninth on a solo shot to right by Benson, forcing extra innings.

The Reds completed their comeback in the tenth inning when Dunn singled to right field, allowing Steer to score the winning run from second. Cincinnati's persistent offense, particularly the clutch hitting from Steer, ultimately overcame Kansas City's early advantage and solid starting pitching. The Reds now stand at 60-65 on the season, while the Royals fell to 51-75.
