Colorado Rockies vs Milwaukee Brewers — Recap

📰Game Recap

The Milwaukee Brewers secured a victory over the Colorado Rockies, establishing an early advantage highlighted by a dominant four-run second inning and subsequently holding off the visiting offense.

Milwaukee jumped out to an early lead, creating a substantial cushion with a significant offensive outburst in the second frame. While Colorado managed to plate four runs throughout the contest, they consistently played from behind following the Brewers' initial surge.

The decisive turning point arrived in the second inning, where the Brewers broke the game open. David Hamilton proved instrumental in this rally, launching a home run that accounted for all four of his runs batted in, marking his lone but highly impactful hit of the game. On the mound, Jacob Misiorowski provided a solid start for Milwaukee, working four innings and striking out six batters while allowing just two earned runs, effectively stifling any potential comeback efforts from the Rockies early on.

Ultimately, the Brewers' ability to generate a large scoring inning, particularly through timely power from David Hamilton, combined with Jacob Misiorowski's effective pitching that kept the Rockies at bay, ensured their win. Milwaukee now stands at 78-48, while Colorado falls to 50-75.
