Bohm initiated the comeback with an RBI double that scored Turner, cutting the deficit to one. Immediately after, Stott delivered a clutch single to center field, driving in both Arraez and Bohm to give Philadelphia a 4-3 lead. Crawford then extended their advantage to 5-3 with another RBI single, capping the pivotal rally.

Despite a Miami run in the eighth, off an Hernández single that narrowed the gap, the Phillies responded in kind during the bottom half of the frame with a Schwarber RBI single that scored Stott, securing their two-run cushion. Philadelphia's timely hitting and ability to capitalize on scoring opportunities, particularly in their decisive sixth inning, ultimately proved too much for the Marlins to overcome.
