Grant Anderson provided 2.2 innings of scoreless relief for the Brewers, but it was not enough to overcome the early damage and the Reds' persistent offense.

The Reds ultimately prevailed by consistently answering Milwaukee's rallies and capitalizing on key offensive opportunities, particularly in a decisive fifth inning and a late eighth-inning surge. Cincinnati overcame a pregame lean from SportsFBI favoring Milwaukee, which had cited the Brewers' starting pitching quality.
