Milwaukee Brewers vs Houston Astros — Recap

📰Game Recap

The Milwaukee Brewers secured a road victory over the Houston Astros, blanking their opponents thanks to a masterful pitching performance and a single decisive swing of the bat. Jacob Misiorowski delivered a dominant outing on the mound, while Jake Bauers provided all the necessary offense with a two-run home run.

The only scoring of the contest came in the top of the fourth inning. Jake Bauers connected for a two-run home run to left field, a 347-foot blast that also scored Vaughn, putting the Brewers ahead 2-0. No further runs were scored by either team throughout the remainder of the game.

Milwaukee's narrow lead was protected by Jacob Misiorowski, who delivered a standout performance on the mound. The right-hander stifled the Astros' offense over seven scoreless innings, registering eight strikeouts without allowing a single run. His control and ability to keep Houston hitters off balance proved to be the pivotal factor, ensuring the two early runs were more than enough for the Brewers to clinch the win.

Ultimately, the Brewers' victory was a testament to exceptional pitching and opportunistic hitting, with Misiorowski's stellar effort making all the difference in a low-scoring affair. The Brewers advanced their record to 78-48, while the Astros fell to an even 63-63.
