Though Minnesota's offense started with power, including Trevor Larnach's home run and two hits, they ultimately went quiet after their early surge, unable to answer Oakland's rally.

Oakland's persistent offense, culminating in their explosive sixth inning, proved too much for the Twins, turning an early deficit into a hard-fought win.
