The onslaught continued in the sixth as Logan O'Hoppe hit a sacrifice fly and Seager added another, before Nimmo capped the scoring with his fourth hit and fifth RBI of the night, securing a six-run cushion that proved insurmountable. MacKenzie Gore’s effort, allowing just one earned run over 5.1 innings, ensured that Oakland’s scattered scoring in the later frames, including a two-run homer by Jeff McNeil in the ninth, came too late to alter the outcome.

Ultimately, the Rangers' ability to consistently add runs in the middle innings, spearheaded by Nimmo's career night at the plate, created a deficit too large for the Athletics to overcome despite their late efforts.
