The Seattle Mariners, favored to win on their home turf, ultimately defeated the San Francisco Giants 6-3, improving their record to 52-54 while the Giants fell to 44-61. San Francisco wasted no time making their presence known, with Eldridge launching a 407-foot solo home run to center in the top of the first inning, followed by Ramos's single to right that scored Schmitt, giving the Giants an early 2-0 advantage. The Mariners began their comeback in the fourth when Naylor singled to left, bringing home Arozarena, and We. Wilson followed with a single to center that scored Naylor, evening the score at 2-2. The Giants briefly reclaimed the lead in the top of the fifth, as Arraez doubled to left field to score Adames.

However, Seattle continued to chip away. In the bottom of the fifth, Cole Young scored on a double play from Raleigh, once again tying the contest, this time at 3-3. The Mariners took the lead for good in the sixth inning when Raley belted a 386-foot home run to right-center. Cole Young, who had a standout night, solidified Seattle's advantage in the seventh with a 369-foot two-run blast to right that also scored Rodríguez, bringing his total to two hits, a home run, two RBI, and two runs scored. On the mound, Mariners starter Logan Gilbert contributed a strong performance, fanning 10 batters over 6.0 innings while surrendering three earned runs, helping Seattle secure the win.
