Abrams finished his impactful day with two hits, including his crucial home run, driving in two runs and scoring once himself. While Oakland managed to push across one more run in the bottom of the ninth when Wilson singled to center to score McNeil, it was not enough to overcome the deficit, as the favored Nationals secured their 55th win of the season.
