Los Angeles Dodgers vs Los Angeles Angels — Recap

📰Game Recap

The Los Angeles Dodgers powered their way to a 6-0 shutout victory over the Los Angeles Angels on Tuesday, with all six of their runs coming courtesy of three home runs. A dominant display of power hitting ensured the Dodgers never trailed in the interleague contest.

The scoring began in the top of the fourth inning when Andy Pages blasted a 407-foot, three-run homer to center field, bringing Smith and Tucker across the plate. Moments later, Max Muncy followed with a 383-foot solo shot to right, extending the lead. The Dodgers then added to their advantage in the sixth inning when Teoscar Hernández launched a two-run homer to right center, driving in Muncy.

The decisive turning point came with the Dodgers' four-run outburst in the fourth inning, quickly establishing a lead that the Angels would not threaten. Angels starter Jack Kochanowicz struggled to keep the ball in the park, surrendering all six earned runs on the three home runs over his 6.0 innings of work. Pages's early three-run blast served as the biggest blow, breaking the scoreless tie and setting the tone.

Ultimately, the consistent power display from the Dodgers' lineup overwhelmed the Angels' pitching, making for a comfortable road win. The Dodgers now stand at 75-51 on the season, while the Angels fell to 49-77.
