📰Game Recap

The Kansas City Royals defeated the Minnesota Twins 3-1 on Monday, relying on a dominant pitching performance and a key home run to secure the tight victory.

Royals left-hander Kris Bubic set the tone on the mound, stifling the Minnesota offense through six strong innings. He allowed only one earned run while striking out four, keeping the game within reach for Kansas City's lineup.

Offensively, Kyle Isbel provided the decisive blow for the Royals. His two-run home run was the highlight of a two-hit, two-RBI performance, driving in the majority of Kansas City's runs in the low-scoring contest. Isbel's timely blast gave the home team the necessary cushion against the Twins' quiet bats.

Ultimately, the combination of Bubic's control and Isbel's power proved to be the difference, allowing Kansas City to hold off Minnesota. The Royals improved their record to 52-74, while the Twins dropped to 60-66.
