Minnesota then pulled even in the seventh as Caratini grounded out, allowing Lee to score the tying run.

Randy Arozarena proved pivotal for the Mariners throughout the game, directly contributing to three of Seattle's four runs. He not only provided the team's only home run but also scored the first two runs in the early surge and ultimately crossed the plate for the winning run in the ninth. While Logan Gilbert delivered a solid start for Seattle, allowing three earned runs over seven innings with six strikeouts, it was the Mariners' ability to respond in the ninth after Minnesota's tying rally that sealed the victory.

Seattle's resilience and Arozarena's consistent presence on the basepaths proved to be the difference, allowing the favored Mariners to prevent an extra-inning affair. The win improves the Seattle Mariners' record to 54-58, while the Minnesota Twins fall to 56-56.
